A Lexus car racing a projected Cheetah...
are you mad?
Building projection...well yes but at 60 mph! Outrageous fun travelling around the streets of Bucharest at night time with a 20K Christie video projector, mounted on an Arri head, strapped to a great big chunk of metal. A shot maker, for those that dont know, is a vehicle kitted out for use with camera's, lighting, crew and in this instance was a modified Chevy Eldorado with more horse power than Cheltenham races. Gino was strapped to the top to allow for positioning of the video projection to follow or lead the chasing Lexus car. Various clips of running Cheetah was used at differing times on anything that wasnt moving, to ensure a quality high speed chase. We even projected one scene onto the dust created when the car did a tasty slide in an abandoned armaments factory. Great fun! See the film in the video gallery!
