"dont be a drunk problem" a clever catchphrase materminded by Sgt Conrad Simpson from Durham constabulary

The District of Easington in conjunction with the Crime Reduction Unit from the Home Office, approached CMT with the brief...get the message across to the general public that underage drinking is anti-social and its up to everyone to get a handle on it. Building projection is what they needed.

We thought rather than simply displaying video or slide images of the desired text message that utilising laser projection would capture the imagination of the local youth population and their respective parents..and it seemed to work...

On the evening in March, with various members of the Durham constabulary present to engage the young in a popular fast food car park, the dynamic laser building projection really seemed to get the desired attention for the campaign. The wheel spinning almost stopped whilst they watched!

We used a 12 watt Arctos white light laser out of the back of our Mercedes Vito, powered by a mains invertor..took all of 15 minutes to set up and we were projecting before it was even properly dark. The laser show lasted for 3 minutes on a constant loop.

Who said we cant be grown up and wear long trousers!
